continuity - is the process , in the film and video creation of combination from single shot and its set into a sequence direct the viewer attention to a story across time and physical location.
non - continuity - is when shots are mismatched to disrupt the impression of time and space.
cross cutting- I used to establish action which is happening at the same time and in the same time , cameras will be switching ti the action which is happening simultaneously.
cutaway-
fade- this is a gradual transition from one scene to another.
iris- is technique used in silent film with a black circle closes to end a scene.
j cuts - its split editing technique where the audio overlaps the picture from the following scene.
jump cut - this is a cut when two sequence cuts are taken of the same object with camera angles slightly off.
L cut - this is when the audio slightly overlaps the picture from the following scene.
Roll -
montage - is film editing technique where the shots are made into a condense space , time and information.
smash cut - is technique film where one scene abruptly cuts to another for aesthetic or narrative.
invisible cut- this is when the camera is moving quickly that it blurs the picture into indistinct
